1am. Nobody should ever be woken up at 1am. If someone has died okay tell me when the sun comes up there is nothing I can do about it I do not work for a funeral home. If you are in labor . I can’t have the a baby for you . Tell when your finished with your experience unless you need a ride. If you are at the hospital due an accident. Well did your mama not teach you nothing good happens after midnight. Don’t call me . You have medical professionals to take care of you . I’m not one of them .

In the event you want to leave very early for a trip you should probably clue me in on this detail . From the change of 5am. Instead of ripping the covers off of me at 1 am and stating let’s go. Where I have no bag packed and hey it’s 1 am. So I had an idea what I was taking the bag wasn’t that big of a deal. But I am a person who needs their sleep or I do not function well and I tend to get sick. But I got in the truck with pillow and blanket and did my best to sleep until I saw sun and palm trees. And where I found Derek headed to Rudy’s  for a breakfast taco . Yes where I live it’s a Breakfast Burrito . But in Corpus it’s a taco so you just go with it.

Derek fished off the jetty and I watched tankers come in . I could watch them all day . Simple pleasures I suppose . And sometimes you see big dolphins jumping out of the water . We saw a turtle and nothing was really biting. We attempted another spot and not luck . Went to the farmers market like we use to . And oh man was it busy! And then to Drunkin Hoodlez restaurant.  Pot stickers and firecracker crab , Derek did order Drunkin Noodles . I stuck with honey seaseme chicken.

We decided to hit the liquor store and take a nap at the hotel. Where I knew it would all end. After a shower and a nap and a cocktail . Derek and I vegged in the room . As much as I really wanted to leave him and go shopping I was just so tired ! And then I crashed. 

Sunday was Breakfast at Nana’s Taco Run . Which when we lived there was a Saturday thing I don’t even think we knew it was open on Sunday . But hot sauce is a strange yellow.  I can’t even tell you what it taste like nor can I tell you what’s in except maybe jalapeno. I don’t know. But it’s yummy .

I went walking on the beach and taking photos, while Derek used up the rest of his bait. Someone found a face in my photo. That was odd. Then we went for a drive along Ocean Dr. and on to Texas A&M Campus and Derek kept asking which office was mine. Well sorry there are no jobs posted in my area of knowledge so none of them are.  But there campus is on an island of it’s own  . No other college can say that. So  lucky salt area everyday and waves crashing wash away bad days anytime you had one.  I mean you don’t always get  good ones Right ?

We headed took a look at the poochies up for adoption from where we got Toby Derek smiled at one and starred for a while and kept looking and then stated no toby’s . And we headed home . I have no idea how I made that drive every Friday . But I honestly think I was still recovering for the 1am wake up call.

So FYI I use to drive to Corpus every Friday sometimes morning sometimes afternoon. Maybe 6am, 10am, 2pm or 5pm , but never 1am . We where to return for an extended weekend. But he can’t see the need for it. So I suppose we are staying home . Which means we can attend a birthday party. And I’m not to sure about that event . But time will tell .

I checked on Julie and Allison they said the flu is getting worse and they really can’t go anywhere . I questioned food . They said they are eating home food. And I questioned home food. They have grocery delivery . They don’t have to leave to get food . So they are safe for now. I can only imagine the cabin fever. I didn’t survive one snow day . Geez !

I gotta go clean out the fridge tomorrow is trash day .
