It was a typical Friday night around the house except for Cakie came by for an English Speaking manicure as she calls it and I went up to the university to watch the fireworks after the Belles softballs game. 20mins of sparkly fun in the night sky. And they stopped traffic .
It was a cold and gloomy drizzly Saturday . I cooked Chicken in a Pot it’s always good for a cold day and a small trip to Sam’s for some Cereal for the STCH ministries . Derek napped on the couch .
Have you eaten Lobster ? Have you cooked Lobster? Well if you have good for you . If you haven’t I’m here to tell you GO FOR IT. It’s easy and yummy . Derek decided we would attempt this . We meaning me. So off to HEB I went and let me tell you the cold weather in this town brings out some characters. But I snagged to lobster tails and headed back home . A buttery cheese sauce for the linguini. And I admit I was a bit worried . I had no back up plan expect for pizza delivery which would not have been terrible really. Derek was watching some strange Umbrella Project on Netflix and I was alone in the kitchen and it turned out perfect ! The only complaint given was it wasn’t cheesy / sticky enough . This I can handle . Toby I believe has cabin fever . He really wants to go for a walk and I really want to take him . But it’s cold . Feels like temp is 16 . I’m out. Sorry poochie. It was on folding laundry and watching Sabrina and to Dreamland we all went . It was not an exciting weekend. But it was a quiet one.
